How long will this torment last?
Only a while, I suppose, but beg you
wait some more, be patient, my dear
time holds me bound, suffering too.
I sought for you, and learned so
That even blue roses have thorns
And to pick one for you, one day soon
even if I would suffer more.

Impossibility it might seem, but not,
don't give up, don't let go
don't lose hope. Being alone
will be my greatest woe.
No matter how far it may seem
our reunion is very certain
though time and distance wears your patience
my love for you in me is written.

My dream, to share my tomorrow
with you, dear, and never part
to be yours and to hold my hands
Is my prayer deep in my heart.
Such in time, should you consider me worthy
of being your chivalrous prince
I shall rejoice and hope you will too,
